A very good competitive match with blacon taking a early 2 nil lead, but a strong boughton side fought back well earning a penalty which was saved by blacon keeper harry riley, then getting a goal with a fine free kick. 2- 1 at half time to Blacon. Blacon started the 2nd half very strong with an early goal to take control of the match. Boughton never gave up but blacon were in fine form up front scoring another 3 goals, for a fine performance from all the blacon team to win 6- 1

Blacon Youth 6 v Malpas 5
A great game of footballl from both teams, good attacking flowing football, loads of goals, 2 penalties and played in a good spirit by both teams. Blacon scored in the 1st minute of the match by James Lloyd, then he scored another for blacon to go 2 nil up, but a strong Malpas team fought back well, scoring 1 goal themselves. Blacon reacted well and scored a third, but again Malpas came back to score another making it 3-2 at half time to Blacon. The second half started the same as the first, very fast and furious, Blacon now going 4- 2 up, but once again Malpas pulled it back making it 4-3. Another goal from Tom Crawford got him his hat trick, and a free kick from Jack Davies rounded off Blacon's goals. A penalty and late goal got Malpas back in the game, but Blacon held firm for a fine 6-5 win.

Newton Athletic 4 - 4 Blacon Youth
Another great game of football, Blacon came up against a very committed Newton side, who took an early 1 nil lead, which shocked our lads abit and they didn't get going for the first ten mins, it was all Newton who also hit post and crossbar,but Blacon stayed with it and slowly confidence grew and we got the equaliser from Liam Roberts, who battled well all game. 1-1 at half time.
2nd half Blacon were the better side(a good managers team talk) trying to get our passing game going on a very small pitch, then a good solo run and finish from Tom Crawford put us 2-1 up, heads were now up and still battling hard, James Lloyd fired in another 3-1 to Blacon. Newton then realised they were in a game and came back strong, with 2 goals , one a lucky bounce, and it was 3-3, Blacon reacted with a fine jack Davies free kick, to lead 4-3 but just could not hold on and Newton scored their forth to make it 4-4. All in all a fair result, but well played Blacon lads, a good fighting spirit was shown.
